May 10-on-10 (or 13) | Rachel Bond Photography

Each month I participate in a blog circle with some very talented ladies..  I've known some back from my flickr days when I first started photography and they were (and still are) photographers I admire for their talent and creativity.  We started this blog circle a few years ago, and even though it's fallen through here and there, we have still managed to keep together and push through.  This year, it's extremely important for me to follow through each month because it encourages me to take and edit my personal pictures.  Since starting my photography business back in January, my personal pictures have taken a backseat to my client photos.  So this helps keep me on track personally and also lets me have some fun with more casual shooting :)

This year we have decided to go back to a 10-on-10 blog post, where we post 10 pictures on the 10th of each month.  Since the 10th fell on Mother's day this month, we decided to put it off until today.  My set of photos this month were all taken with my brand new lens, my Sigma 24.  I really didn't know how I would feel about this lens since it took me a while to get used to the "wideness" of the 35mm, but I am LOVING it.  Want to know my favorite part?  The awesome sunflares I get when I shoot into the sun!
